It looks like Ayrfield United and Kilbarrack United may have to do it all again in the FAI Junior Cup.
The former AUL Premier A sides now plying their trade a division apart in the LSL Major ranks meet last weekend in the third round of the national contest.
Major 1 Sunday side Ayrfield were just minutes away from recording a massive win and progressing along the Road to the Aviva as they lead going into the final few minutes.
However, while the visitors lead by 2-1 with just over five minutes to go floodlight failure at Greendale Road meant the game failed to reach 90 minutes and had to be abandoned.
With so little time remaining Ayrfield supporters were hopeful the result would stand and there side would be in the hat for round four.
The recent AUL defectors were in the hat for the fourth round draw, which took place earlier this week, but so were Kilbarrack.
When the draw was made yesterday it revealed Kilbarrack Utd or Ayrefield FC would play Enfield Celtic or Clondalkin Celtic.
There has been no official conformation a replay has been ordered and the draw may have been made pending some form of discussion on the matter. There is also suggestions the teams may have to take to the pitch just for the remaining few minutes.
However, as things stand it appears the sides will have to do it all again and a fourth round place is still up for grabs.
