On this date as far back as 2011 current St Mochtas front man Dean Kelly was etching his name into Shamrock Rovers folklore.
The former Crumlin United striker came off the bench to score a goal that will always be remembered by the Rovers faithful.
Kelly finished in the 94 minute to secure a 2-1 over UCD at the Belfield Bowl, but more importantly banked the three points the visitors needed to claim their 17th league title.

Ken Oman put Rovers 1-0 up in the 68th minute only for Robbie Benson to equalise for the Students just two minutes later with a clever back-heel.
Both sides were reduced to 10 men in the second half with Craig Sives and Darren Meenan sent off for double bookings.
But substitute Kelly was the hero for the Hoops turning in Stephen O’Donnell’s cross in the 94th minute and sending the away fans into raptures.
