Tolka Rovers manager Paul Doyle has been a busy man over the past week with the acquisition of seven new faces into his LSL Senior Sunday squad.
Doyle had promised to ring the changes at the end of last term after his talented squad slipped away in the final stages of the title race and it seems he is keeping to his word with a squad overhaul.
Irish Youth cap and former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Aaron Myles has swapped the City Ground for Frank Cooke Park for the forthcoming season.
In defence Doyle has added former Bray Wanderers man Paddy Seery who comes in from Malahide. Former Longford Town and Cherry Orchard centre back Dean Murphy also makes the move as well as Irish Amateur cap Graham Curran who joins from AUL Premier A side O’Devaney Dunard. Curran has previously worked with Doyle at Bohemians and Cherry Orchard.
In midfield Michael Scott comes in from Drogheda Utd and adds to Doyle’s attacking options.
Up top Rory O’Connor returns from Glebe North while former Galway Hibs hitman David Mbata adds an extra dimension to the Tolka frontline.
Doyle has promised more signings before the start of the season as he looks to challenge for the LSL Senior Sunday title.
All new signings will feature at the annual Frank Cooke Cup which kicks off on Thursday August 6th at Frank Cooke Park.
