Skerries Town have been promoted to LSL Senior 1A without having to kick a ball.
The Dublin outfit have benefited from Shamrock Bhoys decision to drop out of the league.
Shamrock Bhoys had finished tenth in what was a very competitive third tier last season, but have pulled out of the division and indeed the league a few weeks shy of the new season.
That decision means Skerries have secured a Summer promotion, they have been bumped up by the LSL.
Town finished fourth in a very competitive 1B last term finishing seven points off the top three.
However, they finished just ahead of Greenhills Greenpark by virtue of goal difference, meaning every single point gained last season ultimately proved vital.
Skerries now join Inchicore Athletic, Portlaoise and St James Gate as in upgrading from 1B to 1A next season.
