Crumlin United legend James Lee will play for Lucan United next season.
The midfield maestro has left Pearse Park after 10 years and 15 trophies and will sport the red and white of Lucan next term.
Lee, who did have short stint with Collinstown last season, has teamed up with some of his former Dublin Bus team mates at the club.
Unfortunately for those fond of a bit of nostalgia Lee won’t be re united with former Crumlin team mate and verbal sparring partner Martin Cramer, as Cramer has left the club after short spell.
The signing represents somewhat of a coup for Lucan as they add an experienced leader and talented winner to their roster.
Lucan have had some big name players sign over the years including former senior Internationals and League of Ireland Players, but to little avail at first team level. It will be interesting to see if the addition of an amateur stalwart can have a stronger impact.
