Tommy Clements Cup
Usher Celtic became the first team to hold previously free scoring PSC on Thursday night.
The AUL Premier A runners up were up against an American team that scores eight goals in their previous two group games, but managed to keep them at bay and register two strikes of their own to bank all three points.
The win see’s Celtic top the group a standing that see’s them avoid last seasons rivals Sheriff in the last eight.
Gareth Kilkenny opened the scoring for Usher while Jay Ivory fired home a clever free kick to make sure of the win.
Usher now play St Pauls Artane in the quarters while PSC are pitted against Sheriff.
