Kilmore Celtic joint manager joint Manager Willie Henry felt his team should have claimed all three points in their rip roaring local clash with Donnycarney on Sunday.
Celtic went into the final 20 minutes of a clash with former Premier C foes two goals to the good and with a man advantage, but ended up having to settle for a share of the spoils as their local rivals mounted a late comeback.
Henry was keen to stress his team will try and build on the positives after a feisty derby clash, but did stress he felt his side should have shown better game management over the final 20 minutes.
Speaking to the AUL’s new PRO Justin Burke the joint manager explained.
“We were 2-0 up 20 minutes to go they had a man sent off. We should have shut up shop and seen out the 20 minutes and picked up the points, but it didn’t happen. In fairness to Donnycarney they kept at it when they went down to 10 men, worked hard as the always do.. but its hard to take. We wanted to get three points.”
